Rainy Days

Not bothered by the rain,
I did not sit by the window pane,
Instead went for a walk at last.
My feet splashed in the wet grass,
Overhead the branches ad leaves danced,
While the peacocks here and there enjoyed a dance.
Rainy days is what they call these days
When the deers do not prance
But merely out of the bushes glance.
The days when people sit by the fire,
And looking at the rain feel a little aghast.
