Young World

Just born and beginning to crawl
I see the world so new and all.

Every leaf is gentle and ever so green
Every drop of water was pure and clean.
Flowers bloomed where ever you looked
Chrysanthemums, daffodils, bougainvilleas, and Pansys.
Ferns grew fresh and green everywhere,
Pollution was seen nowhere.
Animals strolled comfortably here and there,
Even orangutans could be seen then, those orange monkeys ever so rare!!!!

But now the world is not at all green,
Every where nothing but concrete is seen.
Unlike in those days when I was just beginning to crawl,
When the world and I was so young and all.
